11 Things I Learned, Raising a ManChild

Happy 11th Birthday to my ManChild and…NO!…I did NOT let your sisters color their hair…until they were in middle school, anyways and…YES!…I am well aware of the fact that you are now in the 5th grade!

[checks calendar]

So, you know, you can always try me again, next year.

P.S. I love you!

This is very cute and all true. From a mom of a 12 year old manchild.

Almost brought tears to my eyes…. My ManChild is 23, so he’s much more on the man side, but yes, he loved me first. He’s brought girlfriends home, but he’s a momma’s boy first. Just like his step-dad (who raised him). Beautiful post!!

Well, at least you know he will protect the girls!
(I have funny photos of me “hugging” my brother. I’m pretty sure I’m choking him!)

    Hey Kelly,
I usually write birthday letters to my kids, but couldn't bring myself to write his…yet.  Especially, since he's a little annoyed at me for going back to work, at the moment.  [heavy sigh]  Maybe in the summer 😉
