It’s our most favorite spot to fish for tadpoles and one of about a bazillion beautiful places you’ll find here, in New Jersey…YES…really!
Check out the Official Wordless Wednesday HQ
Tag, you’re it: Wordless Wednesday
Also, I’ve got a post up at the SV Moms Blog Group, fresh from the Garden State:
Now, we return back to our regularly-scheduled…HOLY CRAP!…it’s already Wednesday and what do you mean only 7 more sleeps until school starts?
If anyone needs me, I’ll be spending the rest of the week mourning the fact that my first born baby girl is old enough to go to high school…SOB!…and hitting the clearance racks…HARD!

So puuuurty! I read your post on NJ moms…I so know what you mean! The traffic is definitely a lot worse where we are compared to 12 years ago when we bought the place. I’m always complaining that I want to move out of state. But, like you, we’ll probably never leave.

I am a Jersey girl — lived there my entire live until I went to college. I still return a few times a year to visit my parents. Anyway, thanks for the lovely picture. I am so sick of having to defend NJ to people who believe that the entire state is filled with sewage plants and hypodermic-laden beaches. It’s called the “Garden State” people! Folks are always surprised when I tell them that there were horses, farmers’ markets, and lovely watering holes like the one in your picture where I grew up.
