Beware, it’s Monday and there’s a killer metagator in the house!

Seriously, see that sign up there – I actually got it for my girls (all 3 share a room) and hung it on their bedroom door – I can’t believe it’s Monday, already!  The kids have been home for 4 days, already and we’re about to get some new visitors, as This Full House is now a "Moms" All top site.

Say, WHAT?

Well, you see, there’s this Dude, Guy Kawasaki
– nice smile, good teeth, gives good blog – who recently released a
website that collects stories from all the top sites on the web; Alltop.com.

Why?

Well, it’s like Guy says:

"We
have
found
that
feed
in
our
topics
pick
up
many
readers
because
few people
know
about
all
the
sites
for
any
given
topic."

[blank stare]

In other words, Guy Kawasaki believes in spreading the word on the web
– he’s been here before – and doesn’t seem to have a problem with feeding mom-type sites, or even little obscure blogs, like
mine.

I’ve said it before,
and I’ll say it again, raising children is hard.  Blogging is even
harder. There isn’t a day that goes by – especially, since
the nearly five years I’ve been blogging – when I don’t question
myself or wonder whether or not I’m doing the right thing.

To most folks, probably not.

But, my blog is one of only a few places, where I can go and
actually hear myself think and meet other mommy (and daddy) bloggers,
who – though, it can seem an ugly sort of word, sometimes – don’t
always agree with me, but at least, you know, they listen!

Don’t let my feeble attempts at appearing humble, or sounding all smart, fool you – compared to most BlogHers,
I don’t see myself anything more than a bumbling idiot – I do, HOWEVER, take great pride in knowing that my blog
has made such a list.

I know what you’re thinking – why and does it really matter?

Because and YES (respectively) it’s nice to know that, at the end of the day,  I can close my laptop and STILL be able to surprise
the living crap out of most of the people around me, including myself!

Still.

I am truly honored to be in such good company – I mean,  just take a look at this list – it’s really nice to know that REALLY smart and influential bloggers, like Guy Kawasaki, are listening.

Oh, and you can thank you lucky starts that we don’t have a webcam, or smell-a-vision!
