Ben Bailey host of Cash Cab
It's no secret, my husband Garth [not his real name] knows I am a total Discovery Channel whore (reference made in the nicest and cleanest way possible, of course) and one of our favorite shows is Cash Cab – recently reported to have won a Daytime Emmy in the Outstanding Game/Audience Participation Show – but, there's just something about host Ben Bailey.
Yes, he's from New Jersey (WHOOT!) but, his favorite sports team is the NY Giants (YAY!) he's also a stand up comedian (HAH!) and a real, licensed taxi driver in the City of New York (YO!) so, I guess he's just a good old homeboy, done good, right?
Here's a sample:
If you haven't seen Cash Cab, basically, it's a t.v. game show on wheels and takes place in Ben's taxi cab.
He asks general knowledge questions while driving fares to their destination. You can win money. Or, get 3 strikes, you're OUT and Ben kicks your dumbass to the curb.
No, not really, still, some of these people are like, "DER, what IS the current president's name?!?" and you just can't fix stupid.

You and I ould be BESTies in real life. I have a sickness when talking/watching Discovery Channel. Deadliest Catch, MythBusters,Cash Cab, The Colony, Dirty Jobs… I’m terrible. My secret TV hotthrob is Mike Rowe! Although he lives nearby so it isn’t that much of a stretch!
But Cash Cab is perfect for me…just enough trivia to make me look brilliant, but stilly stuff too!
