New Jersey Moms Blog Launched, Today!

Newjerseymomsblog250

Last month, I was asked by the lovely Jill Asher (co-founder of Silicon Valley Moms Group) if I’d be interested in writing for an upcoming new sister site, for New Jersey mom bloggers.

"Hey, you know, I’m from Jersey!"

Well, yah…and DUH!

Today, I am thrilled to tell you that the site has officially launched and…GUESS WHAT…I even got to write the introduction:

New Jersey Moms Blog is a collaborative group of mothers living or working in New Jersey. Salty on the outside, but soft in the center, these East Coast moms are not only hip, they say what they mean and mean what they say as they write about their lives in The Garden State, where they spend way too much time driving in traffic, being stuck in carpool lines, and dodging tourists on the Parkway or Turnpike. But they know that nothing beats strolling the boardwalks on the Jersey shore, hiking along the Delaware River, or rooting for the New Jersey Devils. These quintessential Jersey Girls will show you far more than the concrete, iron and rubber that you’ll see in the opening credits of the Sopranos.

Cool, huh?!?!

Please feel free to click on over (here’s what I’ve done, so far) check out these fantastic group of women (I am so NOT worthy) and be sure to visit with us (often) by subscribing to New Jersey Moms Blog, as we blog our views on motherhood, from the Garden State!

Oh, and puh-leeze do NOT confuse me with any of The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

[shudder]

Why?

[clears throat and spits out gum]

‘Cawes, we ain’t AWL like that and NOT in my friggin’ house, anyways!

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again (at least until you believe me). Shows like, “The Real Housewives of New Jersey.” is one of the biggest reasons I so appreciate that we have you as a TRUE representative of New Jersey.

The new Jersey moms blog is depicted as a cooperative group of mothers living or working in New Jersey. Hi Robert,
I never saw your email — would you please resend it to thisfullhouse@verizon.net. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to make it Monday (committed to events at kids’ schools) but, would love to read about it and possibly pass it along.
    Thanks,
    Liz@thisfullhouse
