The toof fairy weft me ten bucks!
Me: Wow!
I fink this one’s loose, too!
Me: Well, that one will be worth a dollar.
[beat]
How much for my two fwont teef!?!?
Me: Well, the tooth fairy has always left a dollar for each tooth, after your first one falls out; just ask your sisters and brother and they’ll tell you.
The Boy: Yeah, but I know where she can get a WHOLE lot more for it!
Me: [blank stare]
The Boy: Just call Papa, he’s good for at least $5!

We are still in the discussion over how much the fairy will leave…we are on borrowed time until the first tooth comes out. I got a dime and my husband got a dollar.

LOL! I was going to caution you about the $10 a tooth thing – our tooth fairy made the mistake of leaving $5 for the first tooth and well, she hasn’t had the heart to lower her prices since then. Two kids + $5 a tooth = BROKE tooth fairy. *grin*

Isn’t she a gem! But $10 for a tooth?! That’s some serious inflation since my choppers were falling out. And, of course you know, all grandparents are evil. My own mother delights in buying my children every contraband item their little hearts desire and turning me into the Wicked Witch Who Wouldn’t. Curse those wrinkly fiends!

AWWW. We just went to the dentist, and Pumpkin and Princess both have loose teeth, so I’ll be doing this soon!
